As a licensed Lead Tester and Risk Assessor, I can help you do several things:

  • Locate sources of lead that may be a hazard to your family and pets.
  • Perform testing in accordance with EPA rules before remodeling or repair work is done.
  • Test for lead in a property you are thinking of purchasing.

Lead located within your home is not necessarily a health risk. However, it can be a hazard if it can be ingested or inhaled by your family members including pets.

What we do:

  • Determine the location of any lead within your home.
  • Document what the levels of lead are in those locations.
  • Assess whether they are a health risk to you and your family.
  • Provide the information you need to correct any lead hazards.

The following are reasons to have Minnesota Lead Testers perform testing on your projects:

  • We are licensed Lead Testers and Assessors by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) giving you the most accurate test results and guidance to correct any lead hazards.
  • When XRF testing, we typically test 120-150 locations in an average home to properly document the lead levels.
  • We create an easy-to-understand report and send it to you in PDF format within 12 hours of testing. Sample Report
